Mementos
Mementos resemble an object that the Jack uses to focus their mind to remain lucid within the dream. They are an incredibly important object that is used to make Lucidity and Wake Checks. It can take any shape that you want but is usually a small device.

Mementos have an adjective that describes how they modify the Lucidity and Wake Check.

Adjective
Battle Hardened
The form of your memento holds strong even when your form does not. Wake Checks ignore up to 4 Permanent Conditions when determining the calculation.
Superb
This memento is just a little better all round. All Wake Checks require 2 less to succeed on.
Fixed
The memento has 3 fixed states that once used, lose their ability to prevent you from waking. Pass your first 3 Wake Checks no matter the outcome. Fail the next.
Tenacious
Once it is used your memento keeps going. Wake Check successes prevent any additional Wake Checks from being made for the next 2 rounds.
Reliable
This memento has a simple design that still works as chaos or order change. Half the number (rounding up) that is added to the Wake Checks due to the Chaos Scale.
Volatile
If a wake check is made due to combat. Apply a D12 chaos condition to the attacker.
